RESIDENTS’ AND EMPLOYEES’ HEALTH IS AT THE CORE OF EMD-BATIMO’S PRIORITIES
Saint-Eustache, March 23rd, 2020 – EMD-Batimo, an owner and operator of retirement residences, has rapidly implemented a series of exceptional measures in the wake of government recommendations, in order to ensure the health, well-being and the safety of its residents and its valued employees who are making all the difference right now.
“We strongly encourage families to follow the recommendations of the government authorities and to keep their distance from seniors, in order to provide them with maximum protection. That said, we need your cooperation to help break their isolation. Call your friends, parents and grandparents and use all the technologies at your fingertips to keep in touch with them, but in a safe manner!” said Francis Charron, President of Batimo and Vice President of EMD.
EMD-Batimo employees will continue to offer a host of activities that respect social distancing, in order to enhance the daily lives and preserve the physical and mental health of retirees who are currently living in isolation.
As a responsible and proactive company, EMD-Batimo has also quickly implemented government issued hygiene measures and recommendations and closely monitors ongoing developments.
“There is nothing more important than the health of our residents and employees. The EMD-Batimo team has put everything in place to minimize the risks in order to protect our most vulnerable seniors from COVID-19. I want to offer a heartfelt thanks to our wonderful, dedicated team which has been in the forefront in delivering quality care. You make a difference in people’s lives!” notes Charron.

Our seniors remain particularly vulnerable in the current situation. To provide the necessary support in times of crisis, EMD-Batimo is mobilizing volunteers, to help seniors and to perform tasks that improve the well-being of residents who will be confined to quarters during the coming week.
“Rest assured that safety, health and well-being remain our top priorities in implementing this initiative and we will take into account public health recommendations when choosing personnel,” said Charron.
